    (2) Polish and thin the inner wall of the cylinder to protect the seal. The support ring on the piston slides back and forth relative to the inner wall of the cylinder, which is equivalent to polishing the inner wall of the cylinder with a soft substrate. Therefore, the lower the surface roughness, the better. Tiny polished metal powders are embedded in the soft surface of the ring to protect the seal.
